There are three holidays that will affect winter session classes. The campus will be closed on Monday December 31, 2007 for the UMBC Winter Break, Tuesday, January 1, 2008 for the New Year's Holiday and Monday, January 21, 2008 for the Martin Luther King Holiday. Classes which regularly meet on Mondays and Tuesdays that do not meet the minimum requirements will need to schedule make-up dates for these classes (make-up dates are determined by instructor).

Non-lab courses must meet for 12.5 hours per credit to fulfill university contact hour requirements (a total of 37.5 hours for a standard three credit course).
