The Studio worked with UMBCs Center for History Education (CHE) in producing an online history lesson plan database. Funded under the U.S. Department of Educations Teaching American History Grant Program, the database contains work from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County teachers. For this multiphase project, the Studio developed a dynamic web publishing solution that allows CHE to manage a growing repository of lesson plans on a wide range of topics in the K-12 U.S. history curriculum. The lesson plans come complete with background information, activities, primary sources, worksheets, and links to the National History Standards. The site includes an interactive timeline of lesson plans, primary sources, and other useful websites for the history classroom. |
